What's Needed to Watch Netflix Offline?

Just Sign-in into your app on your iOS or Android device.

Tap the options button, and you'd see an “Available for download” option right above your TV shows.

This screen holds all the series and movies which are available for offline downloading. All you've got to do is, choose them and then click on the download button.

You should already see the new popup there telling you that now you can download that specific movie/ series offline.

Done! Once you do that, the downloading process will begin and you'll be united with your favorite shows momentarily (depending on your Internet connection!)

  • If you have a lower disk-space on your cell, choosing a lower resolution would considerably bring down the size of the file, and hence you can enjoy your favorite shows without expanding your memory.
  • If you're on a slower connection, bringing the resolution down also brings the size down, and the size in return speeds up the downloading process. Or at least, gets downloaded faster. It's, of course, easier to download 200mbs rather than 1GB, right?

How to Watch a Downloaded File?

Just tap on the options button in your Netflix account, and you'd see “My downloads” button right there along with other options.

This is the section you need to go to in order to access your downloaded videos and play them.

How to Delete a Downloaded File?

So well how would you delete a downloaded file?

Tap on the “Edit” button on the top-right corner of your “my downloads” section.

How to Insert a Line in Word is one of the most frequent questions asked by Word users. Inserting a file between a word file is a common phenomenon. Adding borders and lines in Word is easier and just takes a few seconds. To segregate any line of text you can simply add horizontal lines to the file.

Not only it lends a neat look to the document but even makes it easier for the user to read and identify various segments in the text. How to draw a line in word is not as difficult as it seems to.

There are actually three or four different methods using which you can insert lines in Word. It all depends on your preference and the method which most appropriately matches your convenience.

Let’s take a detailed look at the methods on how to add lines in a word:

Inserting Lines with Shapes tool

It is a tool in Word that contains almost all geometrical shapes, be it rectangles, back arrows, lines, stars & banners, etc. Basically, any shape that is imaginable can be created via a Shapes tool. Take a look at how to add a line in the word:

  1. Open the MS office word file in which you want to insert the line.
  2. Navigate to the Insert tab. Click on the option Shapes and select the line shape.
  3. A plus sign will appear on your word document. Drag the mouse along this sign to get the required length of the line on the Word document.
  4. Click the line to open the “Drawing Tools” tab. As soon as it opens, see at the top to see the “Shape Styles” section of the ribbon. From here you can easily give colors to the line, change its thickness and shadow.

Now, in case you want to draw another line you can simply copy and paste the same line. Just press Ctrl + C to copy and Ctrl + V to paste.

How to Insert a Line in Word via Paragraph Tool

Word includes a built-in horizontal line feature to easily add lines. It quickly inserts a horizontal line in the document. Take a look at how to insert horizontal line in word:

  1. Keep the cursor where you want to insert it. Now, open the Home tab and in the Paragraph group, you will see a small square box and along with it a drop-down button. Click it.
  2. Select the option Horizontal Line and a line will be inserted in the Word document.
  3. Once a horizontal line is created, double- click on the line to select it. Format Horizontal Line dialog box will appear, where further adjustments related to height and width can be made and even color to the line can be added.
  4. In fact not only a Horizontal line, but you can also even add inside and outside horizontal and vertical borders via the same option.

Note- To remove or delete the horizontal line, just click it once and it will be selected. Now, simply press either the Delete or Backspace key.

Inserting Lines via Auto-Format

The best and the most convenient method to insert lines in Word file is by using the AutoFormat function. These are basically small tricks using which you can easily insert lines in your Word document. However, this trick works only on MS Word and MS Outlook.

When you type at least three dashes, underscores, or equal signs in a paragraph and press “Enter”, automatically a single, double horizontal line or a dotted line is formed, i.e. just by typing these characters and pressing Enter, the desired line will be formed.

Take a look at various such characters used to insert line in word:

  1. First of all, place the cursor where you want to add a line. Now, here enter any of the characters accordingly, and Press Enter. The line inserted will cover the full width of the page.
  2. Type three hyphens together (—) to form a single Horizontal line.
  3. Type three equal signs (===) to form a double horizontal line.
  4. Type three asterisks (***) to form a dotted line. (…..)
  5. Type three underlines (___) together, to form a broader and darker horizontal line.
  6. Type three tildes together (~~~) to form a tilted design line.
  7. Type three-pound or number signs (###) together, to form a bunch of broad and sleek horizontal lines.

Note- In case you add this line to the column, the line will cover the full width of the column.

Adding Lines between Columns

It is obvious that while writing any document, you display text in columns, instead of standard paragraphs. In case you want to add or draw vertical lines between columns, you can easily do it Word. Some people may prefer doing it via a Shapes tool, but there is a much easier way to do this.

Take a look at how to make a line in word columns:

  1. Place your mouse cursor on the text that you want to be displayed in columns.
  2. Choose Page Layout ribbon tab and select Columns. At the bottom of the list, choose More Columns.
  3. In the Columns dialog box, you can see an option called Line between. Tick mark the checkbox next to it.
  4. You can even adjust the column width and spacing between these columns via this box.  You can specify the number of columns you want to use from the number of columns list.
  5. In the Apply To box, click the drop-down arrow and select This Point Forward. By doing so, the column will be inserted only where you have placed the cursor, and not in the entire document. Click OK.

Your text will be now displayed in columns with a line between each one.  Adding a vertical line between columns in Word is easier and can be done by the above-stated method, easily.

The next screen will show some advanced options no need to worry because you have to blank the password by selecting the “1” option and that's probably been already selected so just hit enter and get reset Windows Password.

#) Specifying the public hostname and SMTP relayer

For the working of hMailServer, you have to specify the public hostname.

From opened Window or start hMailAdmin and in the tree to the left, go to Settings > Protocols > click on SMTP

Step 12:

From the right-hand side click on Delivery of the e-mail tab. Into that, under the hostname enter the public hostname of the computer where hMailServer is running and click on Save.

Step 13:

Now, you have to specify SMTP relayer, so enter the hostname of your ISP's email server, along with your credentials on that server in case it demands authentication and click on save.

Step 14:

You have successfully setup hMailServer and now you can use it.

So today we will show you how to record your screen so that you can be prepared for such a situation should it ever arise!

There is a particular term for “computer screen recording” and it goes as “SCREENCAST“. As per Wikipedia, the formal definition of the screencast is:

“A screencast is a digital recording of computer screen output, also known as a video screen capture, often containing audio narration.”

Screencast or computer screen recording is very often used to showcase the functionality of software products, how-to tutorials and many more things which needs showcasing the computer screen.

This article cum tutorial can help you to know how you can record your computer screen for your desired needs like record how-to videos, tutorials as well as capture a bug and many more things in the same vein.

How to record your screen?

Here we will be showing you two methods with which you can record your computer screen with ease. The first one being our very own, efficient VLC media player and the second one being a dedicated computer screen recording software called “SRecorder”.

Method #1: Using VLC media player.

VLC is like a Swiss knife, it can play almost all sorts of video and audio formats. Actually, it is a beast. Moreover, it has some really mind-boggling features other than just playing the audio or video file formats. One such feature is its screen capture or recording tool.

We are assuming that you have a VLC media player installed on your computer system as it is almost ubiquitous to have one. So, we are skipping the installation part and jumping straight on “How to record your screen?” using the VLC media player.

Step #1: Open VLC media player.

Step #2: click on media positioned at the extreme left corner and then click on Open Capture Device.

Step #3: Click on the drop-down menu positioned next to Capture mode and select Desktop.

Step #4: Set frame per second (f/s) to 10.00 f/s [Recommended]. Though you can set the frame values to even more 10 to 12 frames will do the needful and will capture fine screen.

Step #5: After setting frame per second, just select convert from the drop-down menu at the bottom which has the initial value as play.

Step #6: After selecting the convert, click on the button next and end to profile in order to create a new profile.

Step #7: Select your desired file format (for instance, we have selected MP4/MOV format).

Step #8:  Click on Video codec, check the checkbox next to which Video is written and in the codec, section click on H-264 option from the drop-down menu.

Step #9: Type in the profile name and click on create.

Step #10: Browse the destination folder where you want to save the recorded file and then click on Start.

Your screen will be recorded and will be saved in your selected folder.

Method #2: Using SRecorder.

Type Screen Recorder on Search engines and you will find a plethora of them. you can use any one of them whichever you find yourself comfortable with.

For instance and simplicity, we are using SRecorder tool in order to record my screen. So, here we start.

Step #1: Install SRecorder.

Step #2: Click on SRecorder icon from the system tray and select the size of the screen in order to record it.

Step #3: Click on the red button at the extreme bottom left corner of the screen in order to start recording. You can also check in the checkbox next to it if you want to record the sound too(Useful tool if you want to narrate in between).

Step #4: Click on the red button as shown once you have recorded your desired thing and want to stop.

Step #5: Click on the save to computer icon which looks very similar to the structure of a floppy disk and saves it to your desired folder.[By default, the recorded files are saved in mp4 format].

There are other dedicated software's to record the screen so, go for one which makes you comfortable and best suits your needs.
