Almost everyone today owns a YouTube account, right? So well I just thought it’s better if I write a piece on how to get subscribers on YouTube. (Ah, I can feel it, you’re already excited!) Okay, go along, you can also read this post if you’re curious about how to get youtube subscribers.
So yeah let’s talk about how to get subscribers on YouTube.
But before you can actually get more subscribers on Youtube, I think it’s fair of me to talk about why you need more subscribers for YouTube, right?
Why to Get More Subscribers For YouTube:-
I know you are all excited about how to get more subscribers on youtube, but before actually going out into the field let’s talk about why you need more subscribers in the first place.
So yeah, YouTube is reputed to have made many millionaires over the years, so if you are the least bit interested in getting more subscribers for YouTube, I am sure you have heard the name of Pew Die Pie.
Well yeah that YouTube Millionaire, who makes millions every year either making jokes are playing video games. So there’s no doubt YouTube makes money for you.
The more YouTube subscribers you have, the more video hits you’ll have, and hence the more money you make simple as that.
Everybody loves fame, right? I mean sure as hell I want to be popular, there is no doubt about that. (And who doesn’t, right? )
So if you get a million subscribers on YouTube, you technically have a million people who know you. Ok let’s cut it out, let’s be more practical, if you have a thousand people on YouTube then at least 500 of them have subscribed to you manually that means at least 500 of them know you and well, it’s good, right?
So well let’s come back to the topic of which I’m writing this 1400+ words long guide. Just getting subscribers is not going to bank the money. You have to monetize your Youtube channel for getting ads on your videos. Here is how to get ads on your Youtube videos.
How to Get Subscribers on Youtube:-
Before starting out on this section, I will like to give you a clear picture what exactly subscribers on YouTube mean.
There are two wayhow to gets you can categorise your subscribers one is numbers. Meaning you get a lot of subscribers but they are only numbers, they don’t interact with you they don’t comment on your videos they just don’t exist except in numbers,
And the second type is real subscribers, meaning the number might not be as great but they actually engage with you, they comment on your videos, they like your videos to share them and what not.
And we should be focusing on the second type of guys around the globe.
Quality -Unique Videos:-
No matter what you are doing, quality always comes. First, you have to provide quality on whatever your services is if you want to gain a single loyal follower out there.
So yeah start uploading unique videos, videos that are not copied from other sources, or videos that have not been uploaded anywhere else. In short just upload something people have never seen before. And if you don’t know how to upload videos on youtube, you should see this post telling you how to upload videos on Youtube.
Another great way to increase your subscribers is to upload trending videos. Trending videos are videos that cater to the needs of the time. Suppose there is a debate going on over something in your country, the topic is definitely hot, right? So videos that are created keeping the need of the time in mind, are highly successful because everyone in the country is talking about them, the get shared, they get commented on, people like them.
So yeah upload videos that are unique, and In line with what the population of the country and your audience or the society wants at that specific time.
Upload More Frequently:-
It doesn’t matter you are starting a blog or uploading your video; you have to make sure your subscribers know when they can expect new videos from you. And well there needs to be consistency about that.
There are two main aspects you need to focus about. First of course is that you need to upload regular videos, so that the channel is active, your subscribers will know that you have not left your channel yet, and they will come back for more fresh stuff.
And second the consistency I was talking about.
Well in short you need to have a planned schedule for that. It more or less works as a TV serial, your visitors will know when to expect the videos from you, and they will come back exactly at the time, so yes having a planned schedule helps.
Naming The Videos:-
I know this step might not sound as critical, but it is, you have to name your videos in a manner that they actually generate clicks from your subscribers.
Well That’s the 1 secret sauce, a lot of video bloggers fail to use. So you have to make sure your videos are named in a way that the actual generate interest in the subscribers even before they actually view. it.
That Way you ensure that there is already an audience which wants to view your video and then you get an edge over them, even if your video is not as awesome you might actually get few clicks on that “Subscribe” button.
Well yeah location matters.
Your audience gets bored by seeing the same location over and over again; you have to give them a blend of different location, different background and different things to see.
That way you will ensure that they get something new to see, and well they will keep being interested.
So yeah make sure there’s a new location and the background in every new video at least in some of them.
Ok, so what I mean by saying custom thumbnails?
I mean, the small pictures that come up right next to your video name in the search bar, or on YouTube, or any other place you share your video.
You must be thinking how to work around custom thumbnails? Right?
It’s not really that hard. All you have to do is pick up the most interesting snapshot of your whole video, and put it up on Photoshop or any other image-editing tool, and then make it catchy.
You can either use a text box, or a circle around the interesting section, or just about anything it totally depends upon your creativity how you make an image catchy and worth clicking but trust me this is what will get your videos clicked.
And the first step of getting more YouTube subscribers is getting more videos clicked also more views on videos. If people are not watching your video, why would they subscribe your channel. So I think I make my point clear, right? If you are wondering how to get views on youtube, here you can see a post discussing, how to get More views on Youtube.
Ask, Simple as That:-
Ever heard the saying that says “ if you want it, get it”. So Yeah one easy way to get more subscribers on YouTube, is to ask them to subscribe.
I know this sounds stupid, but this actually works.
Of course, you have to make sure your video is unique and worth subscribing to, in that case at the end of the video you can just leave a message, or actually ask them yourself to subscribe to the video.
And don’t be ashamed about it a lot of people do it, even celebrities, and film stars so all you have to do is ask.
Edit the Videos:-
Ok, this step is not for you if you have just ventured into the video making thing. But If you have a bit of experience, you’d know it’s much easier to get somebody click on the subscribe button if you have a video, that went through a bit of editing, right?
As I already said, this is not the easiest step, neither the most cost effective one. But This works like a charm.
By editing, I don’t need I don’t mean, a very superfluous kind of editing, something you see in movies.
Instead, what I mean is just simple changes full stop for example a better voice, maybe you could just clear it up. Or maybe you could enhance the quality of the video if your camera was not the best in the market.
Just play around with anything that makes the video look good, now that’s not really rocket science, but it works better than a rocket when it comes to gaining more YouTube subscribers.
So yeah those were the six killer tips I had in my arsenal when it comes to a question like How to get subscribers on Youtube.
But I’m sure you might have something better, right? Why not let me know in the comments?
How to Use the Undo and Redo Commands?
I cannot even recount that how many times the undo and redo shortcuts have saved my life. These are one hell of a gem and have been a life savior, at least for me. Since you have landed here then you might be interested to know how to use the undo and redo commands, right.
So, this article will tell you how to use the undo and redo commands along with step by step guide.
So, without wasting any time further, let’s dive deep into this and explore. So, let’s get started:
How to undo and redo?
Okay, you want to take a step back or two, you can easily do that using an undo command. But the key point to take a note is that this is entirely controlled by the software on which you are trying to apply the undo commands. Some of them allow multiple undo’s while some of them allow a single one. For example, MS paint allows a single undo while in Adobe Illustrator you can perform multiple undo operations.
So, in this section, we will see how to undo and redo in some of the major softwares.
We will first go to MS office. How to undo and redo in MS office? So, let’s get started:
Step #1: First of all, you are required to open MS Word on your system. We are taking MS Word for illustration purposes; you can go with any of its products. Once you have opened MS Word, then you now need to move on to the next steps for further proceedings.
Step #2: Perform any action to an existing Word document or a blank document. After that, if you wish to undo your operation then press “CTRL + z.” This will revert your changes.
Additionally, if you want to redo an action then you are required to press “CTRL + y.” This way you can quickly perform the redo operation in Word.
Alternatively, in previous versions of MS Office, you may find the edit option from which you can also perform the same task by clicking on the undo and redo options.
Let’s see how it can be done in MS paint.
Step #1: First of all, you will have to launch MS Paint on your system. Once you have done that, open the desired image file, or you can even create something of your own.
Step #2: Oh, you made a mistake and wanted to undo the action. Press “CTRL + Z” to get back a step back. If you want the redo the step then just press “CTRL + Y” to get the needful results.
Moving on, we will see how to redo and undo in Adobe Photoshop. So, let’s get started:
Step #1: Open Adobe Photoshop on your system. Once launched, you are now required to open any existing project on which you want to perform these actions.
Step #2: Now, if you want to undo or redo your steps, you have two options, either you can go with the usual “CTRL + Z” keyboard shortcut which will get you exactly one step back, or you can go to edit option and then select the appropriate option from there.
Alternatively, to undo your steps, you can also go to the history section of Photoshop from where you can also see what steps you have gone through till now. To go to history, you need to click on the Window option from the top navigation menu and the locate the history option. Once found, you need to click on it. This may open a history panel from the right side from where you have a look at your steps.
Now, if you wish you can select the desired steps that you want to undo and then delete them by clicking on the dustbin like icon as shown. This will produce the same output as the undo command, but the difference is that you can revert as many steps as available.
To say the least, CTRL + Z and CTRL + Y are the undo and redo global actions for any Windows program. So, what if we want to perform the redo and undo operations on a Mac? If you are thinking about the same, then the following section is a must visit for you.
In Mac operating system, the alternative for CTRL + Z is “Command + Z” and for the redo operation the alternative is “Command + Shift + Z.” The Command key in Mac is equivalent to the CTRL command in Windows.
Also take a note that not every action your perform can be redone and undone. So, if these keys don’t work in some cases, then you might have performed those actions.
[Additional Information]: Some useful keyboard shortcuts.
- CTRL + SHIFT+ESC: Opens Windows Task Manager
- ALT + TAB: Switch to another running program
- ALT + SPACE: Displays the foreground window’s system menu.
- ALT + F4: Closes the current window
- SHIFT+DELETE: Delete item permanently without placing it into the recycle bin
- Windows Logo + L: Lock the computer
- Windows Logo + R: Open the Run dialog box
- CTRL + F: Finds for terms in a Window
- Windows Logo + M: Minimizes all open Windows
- Shift + Windows Logo + M: Undo the Minimize all (opposite of Windows Logo + M)
- Windows Logo + D: Display desktop by minimizing all open Windows
- Windows Logo + TAB: Cycles through running programs (Function similar to Alt + Tab)
- CTRL + ALT + DEL: Referred to as “Three finger salute” often used to interrupt a function. It provides a bunch of options like task manager, log off and others.

While you won’t have to go traipsing around the registry in order to implement this technique – I already did that – you may be curious as to where the CLSID came from. Essentially, a CLSID key is a part of the registry that contains code that provides access to specific system objects in the operating system, such as system folders. The CLSID keys can be found in two places in the Registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREClassesCLSID and HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTCLSID.
Now, under normal circumstances, you would never need to use a CLSID because it is specifically designed to be used by developers and the operating system. In fact, a CLSID is a 128 bit Hexadecimal number enclosed in braces, so it’s not very user friendly.
In any case, the CLSID that provides access to the Apps screen is
To use the CLSID to launch the Apps screen, you’ll use the Shell command. In order to launch a Shell command from a shortcut, you need to use the explorer.exe command. As such, the shortcut to launch the Apps screen consists of the following command line. (Take note that there are three colons between the word shell and the left brace. Also keep in mind that there is only one space in the whole command line between the .exe file extension and the word shell.)
To create the shortcut, just open the Documents folder, right-click on the background, and choose the New | Shortcut command. When you see the first screen in the Create Shortcut wizard, type the shortcut in the text box.
When you see the second screen in the Create Shortcut wizard, type a short name for your shortcut. To complete the wizard, just click Finish. As soon as you see the shortcut icon, right click on it and select the Properties command.
When you see the Properties dialog box, click the Change Icon button to open the Change Icon dialog box. By default the Change Icon dialog box displays the icons from the explorer.exe file. As you can see, none of the available icons are very exciting. However, if you click the Browse button, you can search for other files that contain icons.
Once your custom Start button appears on the taskbar, drag it all the way to the left side of the taskbar. So here you are with what you want to have. So go on and enjoy “Windowing”!

How to use BitLocker to Encrypt your Files
Locker means a safe place where you can put your personal or important things hiding from others. We all have some things which we don’t want to share with others same as in the computer you have any important data that you want to hide from the outside world. For that, there are many software available over the web and as well as well-known by you so no need to describe it.
But if you want to lock your Hard Drive partitions without any software then? In that case, Microsoft has provided one wonderful tool known as “BitLocker” in Windows Vista, 7 and 8 for encrypting your entire Hard Drive partitions. Using BitLocker you can lock any volume on the computer even the one you boot from. But a question arises in your mind that How to use it, right? So, I will show you two different modes to use BitLocker on your computer. If you wanted to Defrag the Hard Drive, you should see that.
1. “How to use BitLocker on a normal/data volume”
2. “How to use BitLocker on Boot volume”
Let’s see the first mode:
1. How to use BitLocker on a normal/data volume?
A simple way to enable BitLocker – right click on any volume and select “Turn BitLocker on” to start the locking process. After clicking a window will pop-up (as shown in the figure below) asking to enter a password to use with the drive – you will also ask to say a copy of the recovery key somewhere at safe place and then it will begin encrypting your drive.
By this method you can lock all the drives on your computer except “C:/ drive” or “Boot partition”.
Now, the second mode:
2. How to use BitLocker on Boot volume
Yes, it is true that you can encrypt the main operating system drive, but this has some special requirements since the drive has to be unlocked before boot. First of all this requires that Windows has a seperate boot partition that isn’t encrypted; in case if you don’t have then create a separate boot partition. The second requirement is that your system include a TPM (Trusted Platform Module).
If you try to encrypt your boot volume without satisfying the above to requirement then it will give an error as shown in the figure below.
So, in that case you will need to configure your system to use BitLocker with a TPM. Here is how you can do that.
- Press [win + r] and type “gpedit.msc” in it and press enter to launch the Local Group Policy Editor
- Now, browse to – “Computer Configuration > Administrator Templates > Windows Components > BitLocker Frive Encryption > Operating System Drives
- In the right panel. double click the setting “Require additional authentication at startup” and select “Enabled”
- In that please check the below options that “Allow BitLocker without a compatible TPM…” is checked.
- Then, Click Ok – you are done.
Now you will able to start the BitLocker process on your system drive, and will have the option to either enter a password on startup or insert a USB drive to boot.
If you have any problem regarding “BitLocker” then put your comments below so that I can surely help you to get rid out of your problem. Hope this guide helped you to understand how to use BitLocker.
